Brief History of CUMC
The Cruzerz Unlimited Motorcycle Club was founded in
August 2002. John "Big Mac" Mackey and Michael Roberts originated
the concept while attending National Bikers Round-Up in Atlanta, Georgia. As
they witnessed the brotherhood of many other clubs, they decided they needed
to start an organized club in Maryland.
John and Michael created the name Cruzerz Unlimited,
and along with a friend designed the club's logo. The name represents the love
for the cruiser style bike and the attitude of its members that as long as you
have a cruiser, you can ride. They chose the colors black and gold. Black represents
power and confidence while gold personifies wisdom and prosperity - all attributes
men desire to achieve.
Purpose and Objective
The purpose for which this club is organized is to be
a motorcycle club for cruisers and touring bikes.
To pursue and encourage a safe and effectual manner of group riding that will enhance the image of the
motorcycle riders;
to promote good public relations through their general behaviors,
club activities and community affairs; to promote a coopoerative coexistence
between other motorcycle clubs and organizations; to promote dialogue among
members of matters pertaining to motorcycles; and in general, to abide by all
local, state and federal laws.
